The Wisconsin Badgers football team are beginning to enter the full-swing of Spring practice. As practice starts, the recruits begin to prepare their visits to campus while the team and staff are all in one place. One specific 2025 four-star linebacker made it known recently that he will make his way to Madison tomorrow for his first Wisconsin visit. Inside linebacker Christian Pierce will make the trip from Illinois to visit the magnificent Wisconsin campus and football facility.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Welcomes Linebacker Christian Pierce
The latest bit of Badgers football news comes in the form of 2025 four-star inside linebacker Christian Pierce announcing his visit on Tuesday, March 28th. Pierce is a familiar name within the Wisconsin program as he was one of the first offers coach Mike Tressel made when he joined the Badgers staff. Pierce was also offered his scholarship as a three-star recruit, but upon his visit he will be a four-star recruit after Rivals adjusted his rating.

Pierce is a dominant inside linebacker for Brother Rice High School in Chicago, Illinois. It has not been long since Pierce was last in the news, but a lot could change for the recruit in the upcoming months. The dominant inside linebacker has received seven major offers so far from Akron, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Texas along with Wisconsin. Pierce has already made one visit so far to Northwestern in his home state, but reportedly has not received an offer from them yet.
This last season for Pierce became his breakout year thus far as he has exploded onto the scene. As just a Sophomore with a handful of games under his belt, Pierce has already recorded a 100 tackle season along with asserting himself in the middle of the field. The young linebacker has established himself as a dominant force in both coverage and run defense as well. Pierce has great vision and pursuit ability to add to his other incredible talents. At six foot, 210 pounds, Pierce already has the physical tools and speed to make an impact at the next level right away.
Clearly, as a 2025 recruit it is still very early in the process for Pierce. The linebacker was just recently added into the 247 Sports system and still only has a handful of offers. Teams and recruiters are still doing their research and watching film before deciding on which recruits they should go after. With the 2024 class still being a major priority for most schools, the 2025 class has not gotten nearly as much attention as Spring practices begin.

For Christian Pierce, this is only the tip of the iceberg as the bulk of the recruiting process is yet to come. As teams begin to finalize their 2024 classes and those recruits choose their destinations, Pierce will certainly begin to schedule more visits and receive more opportunities. With his visit coming tomorrow, the Badgers will have the opportunity to make a great impression during the first visit to Madison for Pierce. Inside linebackers coach Mike Tressel will likely meet with the recruit as he explores the football facility and experiences his first real look at Wisconsin.
