- The Wisconsin Badgers (4-1, 2-0) won their homecoming game this past Saturday against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (4-2, 1-2) by a score of 24-13. It ended up coming down to defense for the Badgers.
One starting cornerback has received the highest PFF grade in Week 6 after a great performance on their home field. Not only did the Wisconsin Badgers win the game, they did not give up many points either.
Wisconsin Badgers CB Receives Highest PFF Grade After Week 6
Defensive back Ricardo Hallman was given the highest PFF grade among cornerbacks in Week 6, according to X:

In the game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Hallman returned a 95-yard interception to the house in their win for the Wisconsin Badgers. Over the last two games, Ricardo Allen has three interceptions, including two against the Purdue Boilermakers in Week 5.
Badgers’ Impact on Rutgers
In Week 6, the Wisconsin Badgers only gave up 259 yards of total offense to Rutgers. They were able to keep the opposing running back down with only 16 yards on eight carries.
Badgers quarterback Tanner Mordecai went 17-31 for 145 yards. Running back Braelon Allen had 21 carries for 101 yards and one touchdown.
Next Game For Wisconsin
Luke Fickell is currently undefeated in BIG play, with wins over Purdue and Rutgers in the last two weeks. Next, they will face a former Wisconsin Badgers quarterback in Deacon Hill. He got his first start at the position against the Boilermakers in Week 6! Senior quarterback Cade McNamara is done for the year after suffering a torn ACL injury against Michigan State.
The Badgers are looking to continue their win streak in conference play against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday, October 14th, at Camp Randall Stadium. It is set to kick off at 4:00 p.m. ET on Fox!
