The Vikings new defensive coordinator is bringing changes
The Minnesota Vikings new defensive coordinator was announced Monday afternoon. According to multiple sources, Brian Flores will be their next defensive coordinator in Minnesota. The Vikings needed a change for their defense after the way the end of the season went.
The Vikings had an excellent record in the regular season. However, because of the way they played during the season, fans and analysts considered them to be frauds. The New York Giants made that conspiracy official when they beat the Vikings on the road in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
The defense was a major shortcoming for the Vikings this season. Defensive coordinator Ed Donatell was fired after the playoff loss. According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, the Vikings’ new defensive coordinator plans to be more aggressive next season.
