The St. Louis Cardinals fanbase is unhappy with manager Oliver Marmol after its latest loss against the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday on the road. Milwaukee won against St. Louis easily 7-1.
With the win, the Brewers improve to 22-15 on the year and the Cardinals drop to 15-22 on the year. Milwaukee is at the top of the division and St. Louis is currently in last place in the National League Central.
The St. Louis Cardinals also missed the playoffs last season in the MLB. They finished in last place in the National League Central with a 71-91 record. They are on pace to finish in last place in the division for the second consecutive season.
If St. Louis were to get swept in this series against Milwaukee, the Cardinals could be making a manager change sooner rather than later. There has yet to be a change at manager in the MLB for any team this season despite some teams being absolutely horrendous.
St. Louis Cardinals Fans Want Manager Oliver Marmol Fired After It’s Latest Loss Against the Milwaukee Brewers
There have been a lot of unhappy Cardinals fans so far in 2024 and they just want to get back to winning baseball. This is what Cardinals fans had to say on Twitter after its latest loss against the Milwaukee Brewers:
John Mozeliak
Oliver Marmol
Turner Ward
Michael GirschSend them all packing, I don’t care anymore.

The St. Louis Cardinals should
Fire John Mozeliak
Fire Turner Ward
Fire Oliver Marmol
Sell the teamYour slogan is “For the Lou”
So do it #ForTheLou
Because you’ve ruined the best thing in St. Louis.— Joshua (@jamos4289) May 10, 2024
I vote the Cardinals replace Oliver Marmol with the most successful Arby’s manager in the game.

This will not be the last time this year that the Cardinals fanbase will complain. Whenever they decide to fire him, St. Louis fans will be happy but that will only be the beginning for them. It is also possible that they have a fire sale at the 2024 MLB trade deadline.
Some of the players that St. Louis might trade are away starting pitcher Sonny Gray, first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, and third baseman Nolan Arenado. The Milwaukee Brewers were able to get hits off of Gray on Thursday night, but he was pitching well up to that point.
