The Green Bay Packers are not where they had hoped they would be at this point in the season. Once projected to run away with the NFC North, Green Bay is now 3-5, tied with the Chicago Bears, and behind the Minnesota Vikings in the standings. Of course, the Packers failed to make a move at the trade deadline, drawing the ire of fans all over social media.

Additionally, there has been a bit of back-and-forth among media members regarding the state of the Packers locker room. Aaron Rodgers recently made some statements on The Pat McAfee Show that called out players who were making mistakes. Some media members do not believe he should have done that and feel that there are members of the team who resent him. Others believe that the locker room is fine and that the players had no issue with what Rodgers said. In his weekly spot on Nine 2 Noon with John Kuhn, Packers running back AJ Dillon made a bold statement about the current culture of the Packers locker room.
AJ Dillon Says the Packers Believe They Have a Championship Team
Former Green Bay Packers fullback John Kuhn asked AJ Dillon if he felt that the front office needed to make a move “to help you guys out a little bit.” In response, Dillon said: “I do think that we have a championship team in our locker room right now. I know it may not look like it… but I believe there is a firm belief within the locker room that we have a championship team. We just have to put it all together.”
When asked if he wanted “a guy to be brought in,” Dillon seemed like he wanted to say “No” without actually saying “No.”
“Hmmm, I mean, like I said, we feel like we have a championship roster right now. Let’s say they go out and get somebody, they need to be able to mesh with our team. It may be a spark for the team, but you never know how someone is going to mesh until you meet them.”
