Siaki Ika Scouting Report
Per NFL Draft Buzz, Ika has the following strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths
- Can make the impressive chest-to-chest bear hug tackle in the hole due to his ability to wreak havoc in the backfield
- Despite a bowling-ball build, Ika has good feet and agility, capable of working laterally down the line of scrimmage in pursuit
- A high-motor pass rusher, Ika has a compact but wide frame and long arms
- Provides some secondary interior pass rush, getting most penetration when playing three-technique
Weaknesses
- Doesn’t play fundamentally sound and lacks much technique in his repertoire
- Ika is a bit underpowered, often playing too high and struggling to hold the point of attack against double teams

Siaki Ika in Mock Drafts
According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Ika is a projected second-round pick. He is a borderline first-round pick as some mock drafts have him going at the end. If he does slip to the second round, don’t expect him to last too long. Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Ike being taken.
- San Diego Union-Tribune – No. 20 overall: Seahawks
- Pro Football Network – No. 27 overall: Vikings
- Draftwire – Second round: Steelers (For Packers fans, this is the pick the Bears traded for Chase Claypool)
Would Siaki Ika Fit on the Packers?
The interior line is a sneaky need for the Packers. Kenny Clark is one of the tops at his position and Devonte Wyatt is coming along. Outside of that, the Packers are going to need more people to rotate through the pass rush. Ika also would be a great run-stopper that would help plug up the middle of the field. Ika is one of the top defensive tackles in the draft and if he fell into the second round, the Packers would be very happy.
Check Out Another Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
Because the interior line is more of a secondary need, it will be interesting to see what GM Brian Gutekunst does with his second-round pick. If Ika is there in the second round, he might be too good to pass up.
