Max Duggan Scouting Report
Per NFL Draft Buzz, Duggan has the following strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths
- Athletic QB who displays good vision. balance, and speed to create positive plays
- Gets the ball out quickly. Allows receivers to run after the catch
- Good arm strength and can make plays outside the pocket
Weaknesses
- Holds the ball too long
- Needs to improve pre-snap recognition
- Slight of frame which could be a problem for his dual-threat nature

Max Duggan in Mock Drafts
According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Duggan is projected as an undrafted free agent. There are some mock drafts that have him going in the seventh round but none earlier than that. His physical stats are most likely what will give teams pause. The NFL is full of bigger and faster players. A QB of his stature will take some punishment and teams are not willing to risk draft capital for a high injury risk. Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Duggan going.

Would Max Duggan Fit on the Packers?
Duggan does fit the bill for what the Packers’ offense is trying to run. Quick, short to intermediate throws that allow for the receivers to run after the catch is exactly how this offense is built. Having a QB that can scramble and pick up chunk yardage is also something that Aaron Rodgers has done for years. His confidence and experience would also be an asset to the team.
Check Out Another TCU Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
Despite this, I would be very surprised if Duggan ended up on the Packers. Aaron Rodgers is most likely coming back for at least another season. If he isn’t Jordan Love will assume the role of QB1. I suppose the Packers could take a flyer on Duggan in the last round but I expect GM Brian Gutekunst to try and find value at other positions rather than at QB.
