Would Adetomiwa Adebawore Fit on the Packers?
Day 3 of the NFL draft is never about trying to find starters for week 1 in the upcoming season. The goal is to find talent to develop that could help in certain roles during the season. If they turn into a starter, great. If they are a role player, that is also really good. Adebawore feels like the type of pick that GM Brian Gutekunst would go for. He is athletic and extremely quick which fits the identity of the defense.
Check Out Another Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
Edge depth is needed for the Packers and Adebawore could fit right in. The only reason that the Packers may look elsewhere is the emergence of Kingsley Enagbare. Rashan Gary will be back at some point next season. However, being able to rotate pass rushers is never a bad thing. Gutekunst hit on Enagbare in the fifth round of the 2022 draft. If he can hit again in the fifth round on another edge, the Packers could have a ferocious pass rush for many years.
