The Green Bay Packers may have lost on Thursday night, but their fans had plenty of fun on Sunday. The Dallas Cowboys traveled to Minnesota looking to bounce back after their overtime loss to the Packers last week. Before the game, former Packers edge rusher Za’Darius Smith was asked how he was feeling. His response: “9-1.” Well, that turned out not to be the case as the Vikings fell to the Cowboys by the outrageous score of 40-3. Despite being 8-2 and leading the NFC North, the Vikings now have a negative point differential on the season.
“I’m feeling 9-1 today.”
The Vikings now trail 37-3.

With hopes of the Playoffs dwindling by a thread for Packers fans, they took to social media to have some fun at the Vikings’ expense.
The Best Tweets from Packers Fans Regarding the Vikings
Despite Elon Musk’s apparent desire to run Twitter into the ground, it is still running. It is a good thing, too, because these Tweets from Packers fans following the Vikings 40-3 loss to the Cowboys are sheer gold:

If the Packers > Cowboys.
And Cowboys > Vikings.
Then Packers > Vikings. #math

The Packers Have a Long Way to Go
Even at 4-7, the Packers have not yet been mathematically eliminated from the Playoffs. Of course, if they are to somehow get in, they will likely need to win the rest of their six games. This is something quarterback Aaron Rodgers said is very possible.
The Packers have six remaining games, one of which is at home against the Minnesota Vikings on New Year’s Day. We will see if the Packers can start off 2023 on the right note. If not, it could very well mean the end of their season.
