Packers Fans Go Berserk After ‘Bust’ Muffed Another Return

Packers fans want Amari Rodgers gone

Amari Rodgers has been awful this season. Aaron Rodgers does not trust the second-year wide receiver in the passing game. Amari had two fumbles on special teams returns heading into the Packers’ Week 7 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Amari muffed another return in the first quarter against the Commanders that set up Washington’s first points of the game. Packers fans weren’t happy.

These mistakes are becoming a habit for Amari.

Special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia said earlier this month that the team was not going to can Amari. Amari has impressed the coaching staff with his work ethic. However, the fumbles are becoming common and costly for a team that’s going to be fighting for a wild card spot later than most analysts assumed. It also isn’t great that Amari is taking up a wide receiver roster spot and can’t find a role in an offense that needs help at that position.

Immediately after the fumble, Packers fans took to social media to vent their frustration with Amari. It’ll be interesting to see how long he lasts in Green Bay after yet another fumble.
