On Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs punched their ticket to the Super Bowl. As a result, their Pro Bowl participants will be replaced. Eagles guard Landon Dickerson has been replaced by Elgton Jenkins.

Last season, Elgton Jenkins stepped in to play left tackle in place of David Bakhtiati. He suffered an ACL injury in November and was ruled out for the remainder of the season. Jenkins spent the offseason rehabbing to get back to his pro bowl form.
Jenkins missed week one in 2022 but made 15 starts during the season. His versatility is something the Packers clearly value. He made ten starts at left guard and made five at right tackle. This versatility was a key factor in the team’s decision to extend his contract. Since being drafted in the second round from Mississippi State, he has played at all five positions on the offensive line. The star guard signed a 4-year/$68 million contract extension this season. This is his second Pro Bowl selection. He was previously selected in 2020, and he may have been selected in 2021 as well had he not been injured. Jenkins will be a key piece for Green Bay in the future.
The Pro Bowl has a new format this year. The traditional game has been replaced with a flag football game, and players will participate in games that will pin the NFC and AFC participants against each other.
