Allen Lazard has been a topic of conversation throughout the week. The Packers need him back in week 2 as he is such an important part of the offense. He has many skills on the field that make him a key cog in the Packers offense. In a recent locker room interview, Lazard showed reporters an off the field skill. Packers receiver Allen Lazard showed off his impressive juggling skills in a recent interview.
Allen Lazard Juggling Skills
When @AllenLazard tells you he juggles so you show up the next day with tennis balls.
And not only did it turn into a metaphor, I turned it into a whole story ⬇️

I’ve never been able to juggle. Believe me I’ve tried. Allen Lazard seems to have self taught himself to juggle. He’s pretty good too! It came up in a locker room interview and he was glad to show it off. He clearly had the balls readily available and was happy to let people see the skill. This transitioned into a conversation about his mentality for his game and his life.
Not Just A Fun Skill For Lazard
This isn’t just a random show off of skill. He was talking about the motto he uses “At The Top”. He uses juggling as the metaphor because you have to keep your eye on the top ball. If you lose sight of the top ball, you are more likely to fumble everything. Lazard warms up with soccer and juggling a lot. It has been his routine for the last three years. It helps keep him focused on his ultimate goal. He wants to be at the top. The Packers are giving him a chance to be that. Aaron Rodgers has been very clear that Lazard is their top receiver. Big things are expected of him this year and this is his chance to show he can be at the top.
I always find it fun when athletes show off fun skills. It makes sense that Packers receiver Allen Lazard is good at juggling. Juggling takes hand eye coordination and so does being an NFL wide receiver. Still it is cool to see a player pick up and new skills and use it to help them on the field. Hopefully Lazard will be back this week to help the Packers offense get back on track.
