As the NBA trade deadline continues approaching quickly, the Milwaukee Bucks are going to be a very intriguing team to keep an eye on. Once again, the Bucks are a favorite in the Eastern Conference, thanks in large part to the presence of Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, they have surrounded him with great help and could be looking to make another move to boost that help even more.
One rumor has had the Bucks interested in trading for New York Knicks wing Cam Reddish. In that deal, it has been suggested that Grayson Allen could be on his way out of town. Another veteran player has also been on the radar in recent rumors.
Jae Crowder has been awaiting a trade out of Phoenix. While the Suns have not obliged him yet, talks seem to be heating up. The Bucks appear to be one of the front-runners to acquire the veteran forward.
Bucks Have Good Chance To Trade For Jae Crowder
According to new odds from Bookies.com, the Bucks have an 18.2 percent chance of trading for Crowder. That has them at No. 3 on the list of teams who could trade for him.
Currently, the Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks are the only two teams listed ahead of the Bucks. Behind them, there are only two other teams mentioned as potential landing spots. Those two teams are the Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets.
Crowder has not played a game so far this season, but has been working out daily in Atlanta to stay prepared for whoever ends up acquiring him. Last season, he played in and started 67 games, averaging 9.4 points per game to go along with 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.4 steals. He shot 39.9 percent from the floor and knocked down 34.8 percent of his three-point attempts.

If the Bucks were to acquire Crowder, they would be getting the definition of a 3-and-D forward. Crowder defends at a high level and is known for being a very physical defender. He can also knock down the three-point shot consistently, which is always a plus for a team like the Bucks.
At 32 years of age, Crowder also would bring with him a load of playoff experience. With Milwaukee looking to get back to and win another NBA Finals, adding veterans who know what it takes is always worth looking into.
No one knows what the trade return would need to be to get Crowder from the Suns. Since he has been holding out away from the team, it does not seem likely that the price would be too high. This could be an ideal situation for the Bucks to trade for a talented piece to compliment their current roster.
Expect to hear a ton of rumors in the coming weeks as the trade deadline creeps closer. The Bucks are going to be very active in talks and it appears that Crowder could be a very real possibility.
