After striking out on Derek Carr, the New York Jets look to be all hands on deck for the future Hall of Fame Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
Update: Sources tell @DanGrazianoESPN and me that a contingent of Jets team officials are scheduled to fly out today to meet in person with Aaron Rodgers. https://t.co/zFEoKY9rvl

Rodgers is meeting with the New York Jets today in his home in California to discuss the possibility of joining forces. This ultimately could be the beginning of the end for Rodgers in Green Bay, as the Packers gave Rodgers permission to meet with the Jets.
As much as fans may be starting to feel indifferent about Rodgers with his offseason antics and off-the-field hobbies, he still has brought immense joy to Packers fans since taking over as a starter in 2008.
Aaron Rodgers to the Jets Would Be History Repeating Itself
If Rodgers were to be traded to the New York Jets, the Packers would receive at least one first-round pick back, given the talent of No. 12. The 24-year-old Jordan Love would then be given the duties of taking over as the starting quarterback in Green Bay, leading to history repeating itself once again.

In 2005 the Packers chose Rodgers in the first round of the NFL Draft with Brett Favre still on the roster. Three years later, in the offseason of 2008, Favre was traded to the New York Jets, leading to Rodgers taking over the huddle. Rodgers sat as the backup for three seasons, and so has Jordan Love currently.
Time will tell shortly what the future holds with Rodgers and Green Bay and what the new direction of the Packers will become.
