The Las Vegas Raiders are getting set to host their training camp for 2023 without their best player, Josh Jacobs. They’re going to be without another key name to start camp.
The Raiders were unable to reach a long-term deal with Jacobs. Jacobs’ only option left is the franchise tag, which he hasn’t signed and could be revoked. The Raiders offense would be hurt with Jacobs’ absence this season.
Las Vegas Raiders place Tyree Wilson on injured list

The defense could be affected by a lingering rehab from rookie Tyree Wilson. According to the NFL’s transaction report, the Raiders have placed Wilson on the non-football injury list.
Interesting for the #Raiders. First round pick Tyree Wilson will start training camp on the non-football injury list. pic.twitter.com/dSNFSx2fpA

Wilson had a foot procedure done in March for an injury that shortened his 2022 season at Texas Tech. It appears Wilson is still recovering from the injury.
While he could be back in time for the Raiders’ Week 1 game, it’s not a good sign the rookie will miss practice. Wilson needs to get all the reps he can this summer before taking on offensive linemen in the regular season. The Raiders are counting on Wilson to strengthen a defensive line that had significant problems last season.
