The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to improve for the future in the 2024 NBA Draft. In Kevin O’Connor’s latest NBA Mock Draft on the Ringer, he has the Milwaukee Bucks taking forward Collin Murray-Boyles, a freshman from the South Carolina Gamecocks with the 25th overall pick in the draft.
There are other players that the Bucks should target with that selection. Some people view this as a very weak NBA Draft class. Who are three of the players that Milwaukee should target in the 2024 NBA Draft?
Forward/Center Kyle Filipowski From the Duke Blue Devils Could Be the Best Fit For the Milwaukee Bucks In the 2024 NBA Draft

The Bucks could use a scoring forward in the draft. Milwaukee needs some scoring help around Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo. They will need to get younger as they potentially look to trade Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis Jr., Brook Lopez, or other players this offseason.
Kyle Filipowski is 7’0″ and weighs 248 lbs. A season ago with the Duke Blue Devils, he averaged 16.4 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 2.8 APG, 1.5 BPG, and 1.1 SPG, in 36 games played with the Duke Blue Devils. Filipowski shot 50.5% from the field and 34.8% from three-point land. His free-throw percentage is 67.1%. Kyle Filipowski could be a good Brook Lopez replacement for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Point Guard Mark Sears, Alabama

Milwaukee did not have a reliable point guard off the bench in place of Damian Lillard a season ago. They also need scoring off the bench and Marcus Sears from the Alabama Crimson Tide would be perfect for that role. Sears could lead the second unit when Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are off the floor.
Mark Sears was one of the best players in the SEC Conference in 2023-2024 for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He shot 50.8% and 43.6% from three-point land. Sears shot 85.7% from the free-throw line. Sears in 37 games for Alabama averaged 21.5 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 4.0 APG, 0.1 BPG, and 1.6 SPG. He is 6’1″ and weighs 185 lbs. He helped the Alabama Crimson Tide reach its ever Final Four in program history this year before losing to the UCONN Huskies. AZ
Point Guard Tyler Kolek, Marquette

Kolek has played games on the Milwaukee Bucks home court in college for the Marquette Golden Eagles. Milwaukee has seen him play a lot and with the need for a backup point guard, it would be easy for them to go with this selection.
Tyler Kolek was the Big East Player of the Year in 2022-2023 for the Marquette Golden Eagles. Kolek is 6’3″ and weighs 195 lbs. During his senior season with Marquette, he averaged 15.3 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 7.7 APG, 0.2 BPG, and 1.6 SPG. He shot 85.1% from the free-throw line and also shot 38.8% from three and 49.6% from the field.
