The Green Bay Packers received good news on the preseason injury front as a pass rusher that had missed practice since Monday returned to the field Thursday.
TL;DR
The Packers held their second joint practice with the New England Patriots Thursday. The practice will allow starters to get extra reps against quality talent–even more so than in preseason games.
Defensive end Kenny Clark missed the Packers’ first practice with the Patriots Wednesday. Per WSH Media files, Clark sustained a back injury and had missed practice since Monday. The injury was concerning, given Edge rusher Rashan Gary is not participating in team drills yet.

According to Matt Schneidman with The Athletic, linebacker De’Vondre Campbell was still out of Thursday’s practice with an ankle injury. But Clark was able to return to practice.
De’Vondre Campbell (ankle) still not practicing.
Kenny Clark (back) is back at practice. I’m blind, so shoutout @AndyHermanNFL for correcting my prior tweet.
Corey Ballentine, Caleb Jones, Innis Gaines, Eric Stokes and Bo Melton rehabbing on the side at practice.

That’s good news for the Packers’ defense before their second preseason game this Saturday. The Packers need their pass rush to be effective this season. Clark can help with that.
