The Green Bay Packers started their first practice of mandatory minicamp Tuesday. Head coach Matt LaFleur offered an announcement in his pre-practice press conference that seemed to shock Packers fans.
The Packers have a young team on an offense that will transition on a new quarterback this season after Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets. The Packers have used voluntary minicamp to get their rookie and second-year pass catchers up to speed with quarterback Jordan Love. Love has reportedly been up-and-down in OTAs this year.
With that in mind, it was a surprise that, according to Matt Schniedman with The Athletic, LaFleur announced the Packers were canceling Thursday’s minicamp practice in favor of a “team bonding” exercise.
Packers back on the field today for the first of two mandatory minicamp sessions. LaFleur at 10:30, practice at 12:10, locker room at 4 each of the next two days. Third minicamp practice on Thursday cancelled for a team bonding activity.

The Packers aren’t the only team canceling practices in OTAs. The New York Jets canceled their entire mandatory camp. The Chicago Bears canceled their voluntary minicamp practice last week for a team bonding activity playing basketball at the United Center.

Jordan must not follow sports. This will stun NO ONE.
The Pack has a long tradition of team bonding days.
As do most teams.
I don’t think Jordan follows anything really. Most of the articles on here are sensationalized headlines with a hack article at best. Ever since Rodgers has left he can’t seem to not at least mention the Jets in every article. Jordan should move to New York and torture their fans with this dreck.
Nobody’s “stunned” . This is totally normal. This is probably the worst site that exists. Sensational click bait articles with little to no substance.
