Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Mercilessly Trolls Dallas Cowboys Fans on Twitter

The Green Bay Packers had a great deal of success against the Dallas Cowboys during the Aaron Rodgers Era. In fact, life has been pretty tough for Cowboys fans ever since January of 1996 when they last won the Super Bowl. In the 27 years since that Super Bowl win, they have won just five playoff games. Total.

Former Packers quarterback Kurt Benkert is not currently on a NFL team, but he still Carries the G. He is doing some independent research for some projects of his, and realized the current pitiful playoff history the Dallas franchise has endured. And boy, did he let the fans have it on Twitter.

The rivalry with the Packers aside, it has been hard to be a Cowboys fan for quite some time. Billionaire owner Jerry Jones pours so much money into his team, expectations are high every single year.

But the Cowboys never deliver. And it is their tendency to fail in the NFL Playoffs that had Benkert comparing being a Cowboys fan to being an Atlanta Falcons fan:

Just wrapped up some research for the NFL season coming up and came to a conclusion: being a Cowboys fan is a lot like being a Falcons fan but with higher expectations. pic.twitter.com/AlvTOsCUCN

Benkert, of course, knows a thing or two about Falcons fans. He was on the Falcons’ practice squad before signing with the Packers in 2021.

But as much fun as Benkert may have at the expense of other fans, he still LOVES Packers’ fans:

This is true. They are the reason why I memed my way into a sponsorship with a gas station during the season.

His tenure may not have been long, and his role may not have been large, but Benkert sure does keep finding ways to show why he was such a big fan-favorite in Green Bay.

So a guy nobody remembers or cares about, who has never won anything and is basically looking for some free press is yapping his trap. Lol. Good luck with that Jordan love joke.
