Green Bay Packers fans voiced their opinions on social media after Brian Gutekunst commented on the team’s wide receiver situation. The Packers have been linked to a few veteran wide receivers in free agency, but Gutekunst hasn’t made a signing yet.
During Tuesday’s press conference, Gutekunst said he wanted to see Jordan Love “grow” with the team’s young wide receivers and tight ends this season. Gutekunst didn’t seem to lead on the Packers would be adding a veteran wide receiver anytime soon.
Head coach Matt LaFleur said earlier this offseason the Packers needed to bring in experienced help. He backtracked on those comments during OTAs. It seems the Packers will at least start training camp with what they have accumulated through their prior two draft classes.

They couldn’t find a washed up wr for the right price so they’re just going with what they have essentially.
