Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a well-known advocate for the use of psychedelic drugs. Over the past few years, he has appeared on numerous podcasts to detail his stories of using such substances.
The state of Colorado recently decriminalized the use of psychedelic drugs. Now, the city is hosting a conference to inform and celebrate the use of these substances. They tabbed Rodgers as one of their key speakers.
Former Green Bay Packers Star Aaron Rodgers Will Speak at a Psychedelic Conference

According to TMJ4, Rodgers will speak at the event today (Wednesday). Other keynote speakers include former Republican governor Rick Perry and rapper Jaden Smith, the son of actor Will Smith.
Per the report:
“Psychedelics are illegal at the federal level, though acceptance and interest in studying their potential benefits has grown. For example, some researchers believe psilocybin, the compound in psychedelic mushrooms, changes the way the brain organizes itself and can help users overcome things like depression and alcoholism.
“The drugs themselves — and the interest in them — are not new. Mid-last century, authors Aldous Huxley and Ken Kesey helped spur the use of psychedelics during the counterculture movement, and optimism brimmed among some psychologists over the drugs’ potential to augment the human psyche.”
Huxley, of course, is famous for his work in the counterculture movement from the late 1930s to his death on November 22, 1963 (the same day as John F. Kennedy). He once wrote:
“The mystical experience is doubly valuable; it is valuable because it gives the experiencer a better understanding of himself and the world and because it may help him to lead a less self-centered and more creative life.”
That statement sounds very much like the things Rodgers has been saying on his podcast appearances. For those interested in this lifestyle, it should be a very informative conference.
Meanwhile, Jordan Love is in Paris, France doing a football camp for kids.
