Chicago Bears Player Trashes Green Bay Packers Fans

The Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears are one of the oldest rivalries in sports. In recent times the Packers have had the upper hand and it really hasn’t been close. Since 2008 the Green Bay Packers hold a 25-5 record against the Chicago Bears. Today, Bears defensive tackle, Justin Jones let out some harsh words for Packers fans.

Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears Rivalry Heating Up

#Bears DT Justin Jones blasted #Packers fans today, calling them…

    1) “Shi*ty”
    2) “Obnoxious”
    3) “Half of them don’t even know football.”

Jones wishes Aaron Rodgers was still there so they could beat him.

In a press conference, Justin Jones left no room for interpretation. He made it very clear how he feels about the Green Bay Packers and the fans.

“I wish [Rodgers] played one more year, with Green Bay, honestly. We went up there and played a pretty good game. They got away from us at the end, obviously, and they won, but their fans are really sh—y. I wanted to go up there and I wanted to play them and I wanted to beat them and I wanted him to be there so he can see it.”

“Just the way that they’re freaking obnoxious, just yelling about all that other stuff that doesn’t even matter.”

“Half of them don’t even know football. It’s so wierd to me. I’m just ready to go back out there and play. I want to go out there and beat the hell out of them on their field, and I want to hear the boos then. That’s what I look forward to.”

One thing is for sure, Justin Jones just added a little more juice to the 2023 game at Lambeau Field. Packers fans are not going to forget what Jones said today and will keep receipts. He specifically mentioned wanting to beat Rodgers. This is not surprising since Rodgers has played some of his best football against the Bears. Justin Jones won’t get to play Aaron Rodgers when he comes to play the Green Bay Packers this year, but it doesn’t mean the Bears will have it easy.

The Green Bay Packers’ record over the Bears, since Aaron Rodgers took over, has been the definition of dominance. However, with Jordan Love taking over, the Packers will enter a new era. There is no reason the Packers shouldn’t continue their dominant run against the Chicago Bears. Even in 2022 when the Packers had a subpar season they were able to beat the Bears twice.

Many Green Bay Packers fans might be wondering who Justin Jones is. Jones is a defensive tackle who was drafted by the Chargers in the 3rd round of the NFL draft. He attended college at NC State and was signed by the Bears in 2022.

He started 17 games last season and recorded four passes defended, three sacks and 52 tackles. In two games against the Packers, he had 10 tackles in 91 defensive snaps. Jones has not made a significant impact as a Chicago Bear against the Packers. He will have to show out to back his talk this season.
