The Buffalo Bills are reportedly getting ready to sign a former Green Bay Packers tight end. The Bills have shown interest in several former Packers players lately, including working out running back Kylin Hill Monday.
It might not hurt the Bills to add a few former Packers players. Now that Aaron Rodgers is in the division, the Bills could use some inside information to stay on top of the scouting report for their matchups against the New York Jets this season. The Jets have several former Packers players and an offensive coordinator on their team.
Former Green Bay Packers TE Jace Sternberger set to join the Buffalo Bills
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Bills are set to sign Jace Sternberger after a successful season in the USFL that saw the former Texas A&M tight end catch seven touchdown passes and record 517 receiving yards.

The Packers drafted Sternberger in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He played in 18 games for the Packers. His most significant moment came in the 2019 playoffs when he caught his first touchdown pass in the NFL during the Packers’ 37-20 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Sternbeger would only add 144 receiving yards and one touchdown with the Packers during the next regular season.
The Packers released Sternberger during the 2021 season. He’s spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Football Team, and Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in the USFL for the Birmingham Stallions this past season.
