NFL: The Green Bay Packers and New York Jets, a rivalry that not many would have expected a year or two ago. “Rivalry” might be a strong term to use, however, each team’s success will certainly be compared to each other for the next few seasons. Of course, the Aaron Rodgers trade highlights that comparison, but there have been numerous other former Packers players to join the Jets that have made headlines. Today, after practice Matt LaFleur had a hilarious response to all those former Packers joining the Jets.

At this point, it is hard to call any former Packers signing with the Jets a coincidence. Since Aaron Rodgers announced his intention to play for the Jets back in mid-march, the team has signed:
- WR Allen Lazard
- WR Randall Cobb
- S Adrian Amos
- T Billy Turner
- QB Tim Boyle
- WR Malik Taylor
- T Adam Pankey
Not to mention the Jets hiring former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett prior to any announcement. Today Matt LaFleur was directly asked about all those players signing with the Jets and his quick witted response had fans losing it.

“Green Bay East” was LaFleur’s response to Tom Pelissero mentioning some of the Packers who have signed with the Jets.
