NEW YORK- The latest news coming out of the NFL is that a new contract has been finalized for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. They have been working on a contract for a while. The big question out there was who would be Roger Goodell’s successor if that were to be needed.
The latest with Roger Goodell is now that he will be 68 years old when his contract is up and the latest reporters are already talking about does he sign another one after that.
According to CBS Sports, over his time as Commissioner, he has seen a lot one being spygates during his time in office and the NFL deflated football controversy.

The Good of Roger Goodell
The NFL in 2021 restructured a broadcasting agreement which was $113 billion in which runs through 2033, so for another 10 years we can likely be seeing those same channels with the broadcasting rights at least.
During the 2020 season, he was also involved with the new CBA Agreement for the NFL in which is a new agreement for owners and fans that come up every so many years, but the NFL and the NBA seem to handle them the best.
How long was the Extension Expected For?
Since March many NFL Owners and media predicted the extension of Roger Goodell was going to come soon at some point within this calendar year and it came late on October 17th, 2023.
He is being looked at one of the best commisioners in all of sports right now in a recent polling that went out to fans, but lets remember almost every commisioner has there flaws throughout the tenture.

What are the Terms of Roger Goodell’s Extension?
According to NBC News, terms in his contract are not required to be disclosed and most likely will not be for anytime currently. The current expecation for Goodell’s pay is $60 million per year which is “a lot of money” but will see how this will end up turning out for Goodell.
