It remains to be seen if the Milwaukee Bucks will be looking to upgrade their roster by the time the trade deadline kicks in. At this point, it’s still too early to tell if the font office will decide to make one or two tweaks in the roster to further strengthen Milwaukee’s push for the playoffs.
Obviously, how things go within the next couple of months will play an important role in the team’s decision come February.
Milwaukee Bucks to Part Ways with Pat Connaughton?
NBA insider Michael Scotto recently conjured up a list containing each of the NBA’s 30 teams’ most tradeable asset. For the Bucks, that player is Pat Connaughton — at least in the eyes of Scotto. Here’s why:
“Pat Connaughton would (be) valued by teams around the league as a 3-and-D role player. His $9.4 million salary is tradeable should Milwaukee want to make a theoretical rotational change or try to upgrade at another bench position,” Scotto wrote.
The Bucks have considerable depth in the wing area. Apart from Connaughton, they also have Malik Beasley and Jae Crowder, who should return from injury within the next couple of months. Milwaukee also has a couple of young studs at their disposal in MarJon Beauchamp and Andre Jackson Jr., both of whom could carve out respective roles in head coach Adrian Griffin’s rotation.
As Scotto argued, Connoaughton could prove to be the odd man out. He appears to be the most tradeable player (and contract) among the bunch should the Bucks decide to add more depth in other positions.
The question, however, is if Milwaukee will be able to acquire a player who will ultimately make their team better after they part ways with Connaughton.

You should really do your research.
First of all, Crowder was injured on November 11, and SI and the MKE JS reported 4 days ago that he’s already doing individual work outs and he says he’s way ahead of the 8 week timetable they gave him. It won’t be the next few months. He’s probably going to be back on the court by the end of this month or very early in January (under a month).
Pat has played well. Marjon absolutely has not, and the span of 4 games in a row where he travelled when he had open dunks (well, one was blocked from behind) has totally destroyed his faith in himself (he ludicrously believes there’s a god and he’s one of the chosen ones, that it’s just god’s timetable).
We don’t need idiots like that on the team. Better to trade Marjon for a future draft pick than a productive Pat C.
