NBA news: Steph Curry has been in his fair share of NBA Finals wars through the years. The Golden State Warriors went up against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers for four straight years, and that brought about some of the most unforgettable moments in NBA Finals history.
However, Curry recently revealed that his proudest moment throughout his five trips to the NBA Finals actually has nothing to do with LeBron James and the Cavs.
NBA News: Steph Curry’s Favorite NBA Finals Moment Is Game 4 vs. Celtics in 2022

Curry was recently asked in an interview if he had one specific performance in the NBA Finals that he was most proud of. Steph responded by saying that for him, it was Game 4 of the 2022 Finals against the Boston Celtics:
“Definitely Game 4 of the 2022 Finals,” Curry said. “That was a hostile environment and we were down 2-1. We needed to win that to give ourselves some life and I had one of my best games of my career considering the magnitude of that moment for sure.”

Curry dropped 43 points that night on 7-of-14 shooting from distance to carry the Warriors to a crucial victory in Boston against Jayson Tatum and Co. The Warriors would have gone down 3-1 in that series had it not been for Steph’s heroics, so you just know that that performance was going to stand out in his book.
NBA News: Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Best NBA Finals Moment

While not at the same level as Steph Curry and his five trips to the NBA Finals, Giannis Antetokounmpo has also been to the pinnacle. This was in 2021 when the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns in six games to claim the title.
There are more than a few noteworthy moments from Giannis in that series, but if I were to pick one, it has to be his massive block on Deandre Ayton in Game 4. Much like Curry and the Warriors, Milwaukee also had their backs against the wall and was in danger of going down 3-1 with the series shifting back to Phoenix for Game 5. Deep in the fourth quarter, Antetokounmpo came up with arguably the biggest defensive play of the series:
It would not be insane to think that the Bucks probably would not have won a championship had it not been for Giannis’ series-saving block.
