NBA news: It has been 13 long years since John Wall was selected first overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2010 NBA Draft. More than a decade into his NBA career and Wall is now fighting to remain relevant in the league.
The five-time All-Star finished the season with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2022-23, but LA opted not to renew his deal after the campaign ended. He now remains without a team as he continues to be one of the most high-profile names that are still available in NBA free agency.
NBA News: John Wall Denies Reports of Looming Move Abroad

According to a report by a Twitter account named NBACentral, Wall is now in talks with Italian side Armani Milan over a potential move overseas. The 32-year-ols caught wind of the tweet and quickly called out the baseless rumor:
“Where Do Y’all Get Ur Info from? False News ‼️” Wall wrote in his tweet.

At this point, it seems like John Wall has not given up on his objective to play at least one more season in the NBA.
NBA News: Bucks Have Had Four First Overall Picks in Franchise History

John Wall’s rise from being the No. 1 overall pick to an unwanted ex-superstar is simply staggering. Injuries obviously played a major part in Wall’s downfall, but it’s still quite baffling to think that no team in the NBA wants anything to do with a player who is just five or so years removed from being the Wizards’ cornerstone superstar.
For their part, the Milwaukee Bucks have been fortunate with their first overall picks through the years. Their first one was in 1969 and they picked up Kareem Abdul-Jabbar of UCLA — a decision that they clearly do not regret. The same cannot be said, however, for Kent Benson, who played just two forgettable seasons with the Bucks after being selected as the top draft pick in 1977.
The Bucks picked first again in 1994 and that allowed them to get their hands on Glenn Robinson, who himself had a memorable career in Milwaukee. Finally, they scooped up Andrew Bogut at the top spot in 2005, and that too is widely considered a worthwhile decision.
