The Milwaukee Bucks will have a tough test on their hands tonight as they face the Boston Celtics in Fiserv Forum.  Boston currently sits on top of the Eastern Conference standings with a 29-8 record and have won three of their last 4 games.  The last time these two teams faced off was back on November 22nd, where the Celtics were able to close out Milwaukee at home with a score of 119-116.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics Spread Set at 2.5, Over/Under 244.5 Total Points

The spread for tonight’s matchup is set at 2.5 points in favor of the Bucks.  Milwaukee is 15-16 against the spread this season and have 23 wins and 8 losses when scoring more than 111 points.  The Celtics are 17-17-3 against the spread this season with 11 wins and 8 losses on the road.  Boston will be without Al Horford tonight due to rest purposes.

In the last contest between these two opponents, there were a total of 235 points scored, which did not meet tonight’s line of 244.5 total points.  Both teams are top 5 in points per game amongst the NBA and the Celtics are coming off a 127-point performance last night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which will keep their offense in rhythm heading into tonight.  Over 244.5 total points is favored to go over in tonight’s contest.

Jayson Tatum Over 8.5 Rebounds (-120 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

    Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks

Jayson Tatum has developed into one of the best young stars in the league averaging 28 points and 8.5 rebounds on the season.  The Bucks give up just under 11 rebounds per game to opposing power forwards and Tatum has hit the 8.5 line in 3 of his last 4 games.  Considering Al Horford is on the sidelines, Boston will have extra rebounds up for grabs.  Which makes Tatum to grab over 8.5 rebounds my best bet of the contest.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 18.5 Rebounds + Assists (-130 on Draft Kings Sportsbook)

Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is the player of the month for December has not stopped his dominance in the new year, putting up two 40-plus point performances already.  Antetokounmpo has hit this line in his last 6 games and will need to fill the stat sheets tonight in order to defeat the best team in the Eastern Conference.  Antetokounmpo to go over 18.5 combined rebounds and assists holds value in tonight’s contest.

Derrick White Over 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Derrick White, who is currently top 10 in All-Star voting amongst Eastern Conference guards is having one of the best seasons of his career so far averaging 16.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists.  The Bucks have struggled to guard wings this season and give up the 4th most points per game to opposing shooting guards.  Which favors White to go over his 23.5 combined points, rebounds and assists line.

Coverage for tonight’s battle between the top two Eastern Conference teams will begin at 7:30 PM Eastern time on TNT.
