It’s no secret that 76ers star, James Harden, wants out of Philly. It is also no secret that his preferred destination is the Los Angeles Clippers.
However what was a secret before recent news broke on the matter, is how the Clippers are approaching this trade mentally.
We now know, thanks to Marc Spears of ESPN, what that vision from the Clippers side of this Harden drama looks like.

The Clippers now reportedly want to wait and see how, and when, the James Harden fire in Philly stops burning.
“From what I’m being told about the Clippers is they’re not being desperate [about James Harden]. They feel like they’re going to keep watching this fire burn.”

From this report, it seems as if Harden will start the season off as a 76er after all.
The interesting thing now about this situation, in my opinion anyways, is looking forward to what trade deadline magic Harden forces this time around.
