Giannis Antetokounmpo put the entire NBA on high alert after he hinted at the possibility of leaving the Milwaukee Bucks if he is unable to win a championship with the team in the near future. The seven-time All-Star’s captivating comments have prompted all sorts of intriguing theories and mind-blowing trade scenarios. One that stands out is Giannis potentially joining the Golden State Warriors to team up with Stephen Curry.

NBA Rumors: Warriors a Potential Landing Spot for Giannis Antetokounmpo?

FS1’s Chris Broussard is the one who floated the idea of Giannis doing a Kevin Durant by joining the Warriors. This would be a sensational move, to say the least, and one that would absolutely shift the landscape of the entire NBA:

“He and Steph, is that even possible?” Broussard suggested (h/t Evan Bell of sportskeeda). “But there this no place I’d rather see Giannis playing than with Steph Curry, because I think it would be so awesome to see those two together.”

Giannis x Steph? 👀 "There's no place I'd rather see Giannis playing than with Steph Curry."

That would definitely be awesome. The Warriors will need to give up a whole lot to land Giannis, but in truth, so would any other team. If Golden State had any chance of pairing Antetokounmpo with Steph Curry then you can be sure that they would do their due diligence, at the very least.

Chris Broussard Believes Giannis Antetokounmpo Should ‘Keep Your Options Open’

After hearing that wild scenario, Bucks fans probably aren’t very big fans of Chris Broussard right now. Well, they’re going to dislike the basketball analyst even more after hearing his advice for Giannis. According to Broussard, Antetokounmpo should keep an open mind about potentially leaving the Bucks in the near future:

“Even if they win another title, don’t sign an extension,” Broussard said. “No one will kill you for leaving there with just one title. You got Milwaukee its first title since Kareem. They certainly can’t crush you if you leave with two.

“So, keep your options open, he’s looking at the field and seeing what Phoenix is doing, Miami if they get Damian Lillard, LeBron’s got AD. All these teams are stacking themselves, and what are we doing. So, I’d say keep your options open Giannis.”

Is this actually going to happen? I guess only time will tell.
