MLB Power Rankings: With only six weeks remaining in the regular season, every game counts that much more. The fight for playoff spots is on, with the race for the NL Central crown coming down to the wire. The Milwaukee Brewers extended their division lead to three games over the Chicago Cubs after securing a crucial road weekend sweep of the Texas Rangers.
Milwaukee Brewers stay above Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, in MLB power rankings

Finishing 3-3 on the week, the Brewers managed to keep their 10th spot in MLB.com’s weekly power rankings, according to Manny Randhawa. The Cubs sit just one spot behind in 11th, while the Reds sit in 15th despite being just four games back in the division and one of the Cubs.
The Cubs split a two-game series against their cross-town rivals, the Chicago White Sox, before taking two out of three from the Kansas City Royals. Similarly, the Reds split a two-game series against the state-rival Guardians, then fell to the Toronto Blue Jays in two of their three matchups.
The Brewers will look to increase their division lead this week in a five-game homestand, with two games against the Minnesota Twins before a weekend date with San Diego. The Cubs hit the road for seven games against the Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates, while the Reds travel to Anaheim to meet up with Shohei Ohtani and the Angels before facing the Arizona Diamondbacks in an important series for the NL Wild Card race.
As usual in the MLB Power Rankings, the Atlanta Braves remain on top, with everyone chasing them and their 80-43 record.
