The Milwaukee Bucks trading for superstar point guard Damian Lillard quickly took the NBA world by storm, with fans, players, and analysts having some very strong reactions. One NBA player in particular who isn’t on the Bucks said he’s going to have to buy a Lillard jersey on his new team. To make this more surprising, it’s a player on a rival team.

Even if he’s a Bucks fan, this is a very unusual comment for an NBA player. Particularly one that is on a rival team of the jersey he wants to buy. The Miami Heat were in the running for Lillard, as they were for seemingly every other superstar to become available. Herro was the main piece in these talks and a deal not going through could have significantly damaged his relationship with Miaimi.
Herro Comments on Tweet Congratulating him for Making it Through Trade Talks
As previously mentioned, Herro has been the main piece that the Heat were going to use in trade talks for a number of different star players. With none of them going through, there comes a point where it becomes dehumanizing. Herro made sure to make a note on Twitter expressing his frustration, hinting at the fact that he’s simply over it.

Being tossed in and around all these different trade discussions has to be draining for an NBA player. As crazy as it sounds, Herro has just accepted this fact. At the end of the day, he’s making buttloads of money. Even so, many NBA players pursued basketball because it’s what they love and it’s fun. It appears Herro may not be having much fun anymore with the Heat.
