Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the injury report again ahead of Thursday’s contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Milwaukee Bucks talisman is still dealing with a problem in his right knee, which has been the reason why Giannis has been a bit of a regular on the injury report over the past few games.
At this point, the fans want to know: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Timberwolves?
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Injury Designation Vs. Timberwolves
The Bucks finally play at home for the first time since January 27. They just completed a brutal five-game road stand wherein they went 1-4. Their last game came in the form of a 114-1106 loss to the Phoenix Suns at the Footprint Center, and you just know the Bucks are desperate for a win now that they’re back at home.
The good news is that it seems like Giannis will be good to go on Thursday night. This is after the eight-time All-Star was listed as probable to play against Minnesota.
As mentioned earlier, Antetokounmpo has been nursing this same patellar tendinitis in his right knee over the past few games, but he has been able to play through the pain. The same should be the case on Thursday.
So, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Timberwolves, the answer is that it’s highly likely.
UPDATE: The Bucks have confirmed that Giannis will be available to play on Thursday night.
