Milwaukee Bucks news: We all knew what was coming. Everyone was well aware of the fact that the Portland Trail Blazers were going to show a tribute video for Damian Lillard in his first game back at the Moda Center since his summer move to Milwaukee.
Despite the expectations, however, you just can’t help but get all emotional after seeing what the organization had in store for their ex-cornerstone superstar, and of course, how Lillard himself and the supporters reacted to the same.
Blazers Honor Milwaukee Bucks Star Damian Lillard With Epic Tribute Video
As expected, the Blazers put their tribute video on display on the jumbotron at the first opportunity possible. This came in the first quarter after Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups called a timeout at the 6:31 mark of the opening period.

There’s just no way a two-minute video will be able to encapsulate everything Dame did for the organization in his 11 years in Portland, but there’s no denying that this was a pretty epic tribute video.
What made it even better is how the home crowd gave their former superstar a heartfelt standing ovation after seeing some of the most significant highlights of his decorated decade-plus-long career with the Blazers:

It comes as no surprise that there were more than a few teary eyes inside the Moda Center after this unforgettable moment. You can be sure that a lot more Blazers fans are feeling the same way as they witnessed all this go down from the comfort of their own homes.
In fact, this surely tugged on the heartstrings of every basketball fan out there.
