The Milwaukee Bucks headed to the Crypto.com Arena for Sunday’s game to face off against the Los Angeles Clippers. For Patrick Beverley, this was an opportunity to battle one of his former teams. It was also a chance for him to rekindle some old flames with some of his ex-teammates. One of them was former nemesis turned BFF Russell Westbrook.

Beverley and Westbrook go way back. In case you forgot, it was a contentious foul on Pat Bev many years ago in the playoffs that led to Westbrook tearing the meniscus muscle in his right knee. This turned out to be a season-ending injury for the ex-Oklahoma City Thunder point guard, and things were never the same between them after that incident:

Fortunately, after many years of beefing, the pair was able to settle their differences. Apparently, it was all water under the bridge by the time they crossed paths as teammates with the Los Angeles Lakers a couple of years ago.
On Sunday, Beverley made sure to pay his respects to his good friend during the game as Russ watched from the sidelines due to a hand injury:

There’s clearly nothing but love between these two former sworn enemies. Perhaps this could be a template for Beverley and his relationship with Damian Lillard, who was once also a fierce rival before they became teammates in Milwaukee.
