ESPN Golden Boy Stephen A. Smith isn’t very confident about the Milwaukee Bucks‘ chances in their upcoming first-round playoff series against the Indiana Pacers — with or without Giannis Antetokounmpo.
In fact, Smith believes that Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers have a legitimate shot at upsetting the No. 3 seed Bucks to advance to the East semis.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Damian Lillard Responds to Stephen A. Smith’s Slander
In a recent episode of NBA Countdown, Smith explained why he believes the Pacers will beat Milwaukee in the first round. He then went on to say when this happens, the Bucks would be better off cashing in on Damian Lillard by trading him away this summer:

Lillard himself caught wind of this very clip on Instagram and he decided to clap back on the ESPN analyst. Dame dropped a cryptic two-word response in the comments section:

Without any context, it’s difficult to interpret what Lillard is trying to say here and it would be impossible to determine what he actually means. If I were to take a guess, though, Dame could be implying that what Smith is saying is “cap,” thus the Cap-tain Planet reference.
Again there’s no way to verify if this is true. However, it would probably be safe to say that Lillard does not at all agree with Stephen A’s hot take here.
