Although the Milwaukee Bucks won the Central division for the sixth straight season, many think it’s not enough, some going as far as saying certain players want out.
Like Damian Lillard.
Damian Lillard Not Happy With the Milwaukee Bucks?
According to Stephen A. Smith, Lillard might be a one-year man in Milwaukee. Speaking with Shannon Sharpe on ESPN’s “First Take”, the two discussed the upcoming first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs where the Bucks are scheduled to take on the Indiana Pacers.
“If Milwaukee loses, I think you need to consider moving Dame up and out of there,” Smith commented. “I’m not talking about his game. He’s not happy there.”

Lillard ended up in Milwaukee after a trade with the Bucks and Phoenix Suns. Though it has been put on the record that Lillard would’ve preferred to be traded to the Miami Heat, Milwaukee got the jackpot with the all-star.
It’s “Not about basketball.”
Smith went on to say that it wasn’t about basketball things that were making Dame unhappy in Milwaukee, but rather his personal life.
“He’s got a lot of distractions, which are his business, and we wish him nothing but the best, but a lot of us would not be able to handle it as well as he’s handling it.
“But nevertheless, whatever support system you’re looking for … It’s one of those situations where if you are not happy in a situation, albeit because of outside reasons, and I know he wanted to go to Miami, let’s call it what it is, you got all of that going on, that’s a lot to deal with.”
Lillard’s Future in Milwaukee
Whether or not Damian Lillard returns to be a Milwaukee Buck next season is still very much up in the air; The game against the Pacers on Sunday will probably play a determining factor in whether or not he wants to come back next season or find another team.
Seeing how big of an impact he’s made on the team just this year alone, it would be a blow to the Bucks if they were to let Dame walk away next season.
