The Green Bay Packers traded away star wide receiver Davante Adams during the 2022 off-season after contract extension talks broke down. According to Adams, there was much more to the story. Aaron Rodgers’ uncertain future with the team at the time played a role. He wanted to play with his college QB in Derek Carr. Las Vegas was much closer to his family. Many reasons.
However, a very recent comment had led fans to speculate if Adams wants out of the Las Vegas Raiders in the very near future.
Former Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Davante Adams “Has To Get Out Of Here”

In a NSFW quote from Adams, he made it clear he is unhappy with how often he gets hit on the field with the Raiders:
I gotta get the f–k out of here before I lose my f–king life. I ain’t never been hit this many times in my f–king career. Every game I get f–ked up.
In 2023, the 31-year-old had 103 catches for 1,114 yards and eight touchdowns, all of which were among the league’s top-15 receivers.
It’s been a turbulent time for Adams in Las Vegas, but after the Raiders fired their head coach on Halloween, he remains optimistic about the future.
Adams’ optimism is easy to understand. As an example, take a look at his coach, Antonio Pierce, who took over from fired Josh McDaniels and led Las Vegas to a 5-4 finish in 2023, which helped him win the job permanently.
There was no doubt in Adams’ mind that Pierce was the right choice:
“I wouldn’t be feeling as good as I do now,” Adams said Tuesday on the “Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams” when asked how he’d feel if Davis hadn’t tabbed Pierce for the job. “That’s for sure. He’s the type of guy that I really enjoy speaking to, working with, so I basically tried to do everything that I could to make it to where the front office didn’t have any other choice.”
2024 will certainly be an interesting year for Adams. If the Raiders don’t show signs of life of being a championship caliber team, could Adams want out and try to pursue a shot at a Super Bowl before he hangs up his cleats for good?
