On July 6 Jacob Misiorowski threw 6.1 innings, allowed two hits, one earned run, walked two, and struck out 10. An outing later, on July 12, he tossed 6.0 innings, two hits, no earned runs, and struck out 10. His 10th and final strikeout on July 12 was a 94 MPH slider.

Including the back-to-back outings of 10 strikeouts Jacob Misiorowski has two other dominant performances within his last five games. On June 19 and June 25 he tossed shutouts of 6.0 innings and 5.2 innings. He allowed four hits over that stretch, walked just two, and struck out 13.
Jacob Misiorowski should be one of the Milwaukee Brewers untouchable prospects.
The Brewers typically don’t publicly announce prospects as untouchable (will not trade) for they are always at least willing to listen, but it would take a massive haul for them to trade Jacob Misiorowski. With the MLB trade deadline just a few weeks away Misiorowski should stay put in their organization. The bigger question will be if they promote him to the big leagues or not this year.
