Milwaukee Bucks news: LeBron James was unable to close out the Los Angeles Lakers’ 130-120 loss to the Sacramento Kings. The four-time NBA champ had to leave the game late in the fourth quarter because his ankle was bothering him.
The Lakers host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, and there is currently some doubt surrounding LeBron’s status for this high-profile matchup. At this point, the big question is this: Is LeBron James playing tonight vs. the Bucks?
LeBron James Questionable to Play Vs. Milwaukee Bucks
The Lakers could very well be without their most important player on Friday against the Bucks. This is after LeBron was listed as questionable to play with a left ankle issue.
This has to be taken with a grain of salt, though. James has been questionable multiple times in the past several weeks — including Wednesday’s game against the Kings — and he has been able to play through his injuries for the most part.
The last time the NBA’s all-time leading scorer was sidelined was on February 22, which was LA’s first game back from the All-Star break.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Also Listed on Injury Report
It is worth noting that Milwaukee’s main superstar is also listed on the injury report. Giannis Antetokounmpo, though, is considered probable to play with an Achilles issue. The former back-to-back MVP played through the knock in Wednesday’s blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors, and the same should be the case on Friday in LA.
Now, with regard to the question of is LeBron James playing tonight vs. the Bucks, the answer remains unclear at this point.
