Khris Middleton made Milwaukee Bucks history on Monday night. The three-time All-Star entered the Top 5 of the franchise’s all-time scoring list, surpassing the great Michael Redd for the No. 5 spot.
Middleton’s historic bucket came against the Chicago Bulls, and by his own admission, the fact that he drained the jumper against his former teammate made the moment even more special.
Khris Middleton Reacts to Milwaukee Bucks Milestone
Middleton spoke about his new scoring record after the game. According to the 32-year-old, sinking a post-up shot over ex-Bucks guard Jevon Carter, who now plies his trade with the Bulls after signing with them as a free agent this summer, was the cherry on top of Middleton’s cake:
“Yeah, it was (fitting),” Middleton said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “It was pretty cool, especially against J.C. Spent a lot of time with him over the years here and I told him a post-up was coming at some point. It makes it a little bit cooler now that it was against him, a competitive guard that prides himself on defense. I think I’d definitely take a 3 or a post-up as that moment.”

What a moment for Khris.
This just goes to show how much of an impact the 6-foot-7 small forward has had on the franchise through the years. More importantly, though, he is expected to build on his Bucks legacy even more in the immediate future.
