The Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat face off in a massive showdown on Tuesday night. This Eastern Conference marquee matchup, however, will not be complete, with at least a couple of stars unable to suit up for the Heat.
Jimmy Butler was forced to sit out Miami’s last game — a 112-97 loss to the Brooklyn Nets — due to an ankle injury, and unfortunately, he has not been able to recover in time for Tuesday’s bout against Milwaukee.
Jimmy Butler’s Final Status Vs. Milwaukee Bucks

After initially being tagged as questionable to play, the Heat have now downgraded Butler to out for Tuesday’s crucial game. Butler is still dealing with a right ankle sprain, which will now cost him his second straight game on the sideline.
Butler is the Heat’s most important player, so it goes without saying that this team will be significantly handicapped without him as they host Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. at the Kaseya Center.
Butler’s next chance to play will be on Thursday against the Indiana Pacers.

Joining Butler on the sidelines for Tuesday’s game will be former Sixth Man of the Year winner Tyler Herro, who is also dealing with an ankle sprain. Herro will now miss his 10th consecutive game.
It is also worth noting that as of writing, Bam Adebayo is still listed on the injury report. The two-time All-Star is probable to play, however, with a left hip contusion.
