MIlwaukee Bucks rumors: With December now underway, we are now just a couple of months away from the NBA’s February trade deadline. As such, it comes as no surprise that the whispers are getting a little bit louder these days.
The Bucks have not been spared from the growing rumor mill as the team is now being linked to Houston Rockets veteran swingman Reggie Bullock.
Milwaukee Bucks in the Market for Reggie Bullock?
The Rockets are on the rise. They made some of the biggest moves of the offseason when they brought in Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks on big-money deals. The rise of their young studs — led by the likes of Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green — coupled with the tenacity of new head coach Ime Udoka has led to the Rockets making a bit of noise out West.
Given all this, it is likely that Houston will be looking to upgrade their roster ahead of what they’re hoping could be a push for the postseason (they are currently 10th in the West with an 8-9 record). As such, a player like Bullock and his expiring deal could be on the block come February.
According to NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Bucks were one of the teams that showed an interest in signing Bullock in free agency last summer. Milwaukee could very well renew their interest in the 3-and-D specialist, especially if they decide to add some veteran reinforcements in the wing.
It doesn’t sound like the Bucks have a clear path for Bullock, though, with teams such as the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics, the Los Angeles Clippers, and the New Orleans Pelicans also believed to be interested.
