Milwaukee Bucks news: LaMelo Ball has been out of action for Charlotte Hornets’ last 14 games due to a problematic ankle. The All-Star point guard has reportedly made significant progress on his road to recovery of late, but it has now been confirmed that he’s just not quite there yet.
Right now, fans will have to wait a bit longer before they see Ball back on the court.
LaMelo Ball’s Final Injury Status Vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Ball hasn’t seen any game action since January 26. He’s been out for a month now as he continues to deal with a lingering issue in his right ankle.
The silver lining here for Hornets supporters is that their star guard returned to practice last week, which only meant that he was getting close. As it turns out, however, he still isn’t that close. This is after Charlotte officially ruled him out for Tuesday’s contest against the Bucks.
This will mark LaMelo’s 15th straight game on the sidelines with this latest injury.
Considering how the Hornets aren’t playing for anything this season, it would not be a complete shock if the team continues to hold Ball out for a few more games before he is given the green light to return. After all, the last thing they want is for their franchise player to suffer a setback on this injury.
The 15-42 Hornets are already considered the underdogs against the Bucks on Tuesday, and the fact that Ball won’t be available means that they will have a tougher time trying to keep up with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
