The All-Star break has come and gone, but Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is still dealing with the same knee problem that has been lingering for several weeks now. At this point, it is clear that the former back-to-back MVP still hasn’t completely shaken off the injury just yet.
The Bucks added Giannis to the injury report ahead of Tuesday’s home game against the Charlotte Hornets, which now has fans thinking: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Hornets?
Milwaukee Bucks List Giannis Antetokounmpo as Probable Vs. Hornets
Officially, Antetokouonmpo is considered probable to play on Tuesday. It’s still the same right knee patellar tendinitis that has forced the Bucks to include their talisman on the injury report, which has cast some doubt on his availability against Charlotte.
However, if you have been paying attention, then you would know that the eight-time All-Star has been carrying this same injury designation for the past several games — even before the mid-season break.
Giannis has been able to play through the injury, and barring any unforeseen setbacks, this should be the case again come Tuesday night.
So, with regard to the question of Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Hornets, the answer is that he most likely will.
Keep an eye on this space for final confirmation, which should come a few hours before tip-off.
