The third and final round of fan returns for the NBA All-Star vote. Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has maintained his lead over LeBron James up top as the Greek Freak remains the most popular NBA superstar among fans after three rounds of voting.

NBA insider Shams Charania recently provided the results of the third fan returns with Giannis taking the top spot with a total of 4,309,630 votes. He leads both the frontcourt and backcourt players in both the East and the West, which only goes to show how he remains the most popular NBA star on the planet — at least according to the fan votes.

In second is Los Angeles Lakers talisman LeBron James with 3,938,571 votes to his name. He is now 371,059 votes behind Antetokounmpo.

For what it’s worth, LeBron was actually able to cut down Giannis’ commanding lead from the second fan returns, albeit by a very small margin. At that point, the Bucks superstar led by 379,667 votes.

Either way, it is now clear that both these stars will take the captaincy for their respective conferences. Team LeBron will be looking to make things right after Team Giannis emerged victorious in last season’s iteration of this highly-anticipated exhibition game.
