The Milwaukee Bucks absolutely poured it on on Tuesday night against a hapless Charlotte Hornets side, 123-85. It was a statement win for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co., who have now logged three straight victories since the All-Star break.
Despite the fact that the Bucks just recorded their largest margin of victory this season, there’s still no denying that this team remains a work in progress.
Kevin Garnett Demands Giannis Antetokounmpo Step Up for Milwaukee Bucks’ Sake
It all starts with Giannis. This is a long-standing statement that we’ve heard over and over again. And the reason why this is the case is because this is absolutely true — perhaps more now than ever.
This is exactly the mindset Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett has in terms of how the Bucks can achieve the ultimate prize this year. According to KG, it’s on Antetokounmpo to make sure that every single person on the squad is on the same page:
The Bucks are missing one thing to propel them to a Championship this season and real shyt, it’s as simple as creating an infectious winning environment…. Giannis gon need to set the tone for them to make a run. If that clicks, they gon be tough to beat 🤷🏾♂️💯… pic.twitter.com/to8K6m3b1X

I see no lies here.
Garnett has been to the pinnacle of the sport, and as he said in his statement above, he reached the top by creating a winning environment within the Boston Celtics.
KG is a straight shooter who is never afraid to call it as it is — regardless of what the repercussions may be. This is exactly what he means when he says that he wants Antetokounmpo to make his team feel uncomfortable as they all look toward a singular goal.

So Giannis hasn’t been to the Pinnacle? I would argue he has accomplished more than KG. I would also argue that Giannis has set the tone this year already. Please remember he called out the entire organization. Most importantly, he is poised to have one of his best years, and doing so with many changes in adversity. KG with the hot take Captain Obvious statements.
