Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo nearly missed out on Wednesday’s 144-122 win over the Brooklyn Nets because of injury. This is now the case again for Friday’s bout against the Cleveland Cavaliers, with the former back-to-back MVP once again listed on the injury report for the final game of Milwaukee’s current four-game road stand.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Dealing With Calf Injury
The Bucks have already released their injury report for Friday’s game, and the fact that Giannis has been included on there could be a cause for concern. Antetokounmpo is still dealing with a right calf issue, which is the same injury that had him initially listed as questionable against the Nets.
The good news here is that Giannis is considered probable to play on Friday against the Cavs. This only means that barring any unforeseen setbacks, he should be good to go when they play at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Friday night.
Giannis Looked Fine Vs. Nets
Despite carrying a questionable tag entering the contest, Giannis was eventually cleared to play against the Nets on Wednesday. He didn’t just play either as he looked like his usually dominant self against a shorthanded Brooklyn side.
There was no sign of the calf problem holding him back as Antetokounmpo finished with a game-high 32 points on 10-of-12 from the field, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and two blocks.
