It seems that the drama surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo, Adrian Griffin, and the Milwaukee Bucks hasn’t ended yet. Even after the hiring of Doc Rivers has been confirmed by the front office, there’s still more gas in the tank when it comes to this issue.
On Tuesday, the Bucks’ front office terminated Griffin from his post as the team’s head coach. Even after guiding Milwaukee to a 30-13 record, the second-best in the Eastern Conference, the former NBA player found himself without a job right in an instant.
After news of Griffin’s firing went out, rumors of Rivers emerging as the main candidate to coach the Bucks went far and wide. This prompted several personalities to give their opinion, including those of Gilbert Arenas, Shaquille O’Neal, Candace Parker, and Jamal Crawford. Also, rumors of Antetokounmpo being the primary cause for Griffin’s termination spread at the same time.

In response to the rumors circulating about the Milwaukee Bucks’ star, Giannis Antetokounmpo released his side to the public in a postgame press conference.

The Greek Freak went out and bared his mind about the issue of Griffin’s firing. He explained that his only job is to be the best version of himself and lead the Bucks to victory, not getting people fired from the team.
Antetokounmpo added that he likes Griffin and even invited him to his wedding. He ended his response by saying he always tries his best to stick with basketball, and not all the issues that come with the business.
With Antetokounmpo releasing his side, fans hope this will end the issue for the two-time MVP. In doing so, the Bucks can focus on accommodating Doc Rivers as their new head coach and succeed in the upcoming postseason.
